Do your skills need improving? Warren Francis, the National Development Coach of the Australian Windsurfing Academy has been sailboarding for the last 20 years. Being a professional at his sport, he has represented Australia in competitions and now specialises in the coaching of windsurfing. Now based in Fiji operating Safari Lodge Fiji, he also runs Sailboarding Safaris tuitional holidays for those sailors wishing to learn and sail faster! A program involving tuition on all aspects of the sport has been designed for these clinics to provide both practical and theoretical sessions ensuring your progression. Utilising the latest techniques and live video analysis, Warren will very quickly have you completing that first slalom gybe or mastering your first clew first waterstart. Using Warren’s proven ‘Needs analysis’ methodology personal attention is guaranteed. From 1995 until 2003 Two tours were operated every year in New Zealand, one in November and a second in February. Due to full time Safari Lodge - Fiji commitments in Fiji, from 2003 onwards there will be only a february Tour of Lake Clearwater in New Zealand. This will be over a 7 day period, where clients can join Warren for one weekend or the full week. There will no longer be Wellington, or Auckland Clinics offered - only Lake Clearwater. Intended audience: Sailors who have access to Windsurfers from beginners to advanced. The real benefit will be to those who have attempted manoeuvres in the past but do not completely understand the steps involved or the technique involved. The intermediate sailor will gain the most out of the week or weekend clinics as they face the steepest learning curve.
